Washington, DC, USA - May 13, 2020 | The Futsal by Duktig Brand

Welcome to the land of tactics, organization and sleek design. Duktig Brand.

In this Pivot Futsal feature, we are thrilled to highlight The Futsal - a top-tier notebook designed specifically for Futsal by Duktig Brand. Massive thank you to co-founders Adelaide Gay and Tiffany Weimer in our recent partnership, discussions and efforts to continue driving Futsal forward.

‘The Futsal’ by Duktig Brand Inspires Creativity, Authenticity & Growth

The allure of Futsal is driven by technique in tight spaces to create. The modern day tactics continue to evolve in embracing an organized, tactical mindset while emphasizing opportunities for creativity.

With these overarching principles in mind, the Duktig Brand released ‘The Futsal’ this past fall 2019 and encourages creativity, authenticity and growth. Coaches, players and fans all seek to understand, celebrate and reflect on the sport in their own ways. This journal now gives all Futsal lovers the opportunity to do so in a Futsal-specific mindset and process.

“We came up with the idea for the original Trainer notebook when we were playing in Sweden after years of searching for a nice soccer-specific notebook to take our notes in as players and plan our sessions in as coaches. Since then, we have had several coaches reach out to us and ask if we made a notebook specifically for Futsal. We reached out to Futsal-specific coaches that we know to get a better idea of what size court coaches would want and which markings were essential,” relayed co-founder, Adelaide Gay, on the demand and development of The Futsal.

Let’s take a closer look at the specs of The Futsal:

  • Size: 5.4 x 7.7 inches

  • Color: Black

  • Exterior: Water resistant, soft cover, black stitching, flexible binding

  • Interior: Waterproof stone paper, 72 pages, dot grid stone paper throughout.

  • FIFA standard size futsal courts with authentic court markings

  • Optional: Custom Vinyl Logos

Futsal coaches and players have always strategized and reflected in the past but often times doing so in unmarked notebooks or products with a soccer field & related markings. The introduction of the FIFA standard Futsal markings alongside the quality waterproof, stone paper material allows for an authentic tactical mindset as the rising Futsal community builds their love for the game.

“One funny story is that obviously futsal coaches don’t really have to worry about the rain, but the notebook is still made of our waterproof stone paper and one coach messaged us with pictures of his soaking wet notebook saying his water bottle had spilled in his bag and how happy he was that it was waterproof,” recalled Adelaide Gay.

“I think people are really beginning to appreciate how great futsal is for the technical growth and development of players, but I also think it is such a fun sport in its own right.”

The Duktig Brand front office team are open to future futsal products as the sport and the demand continues to grow for new creative ways to support players, coaches and the community. Be sure to follow along!
